Day-wise Customizable Tour Itinerary

When you land at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Terminus (Junction) dogra Airport, you will welcome by our official. There, he will assist you for the journey to Gangtok, which is nearly 4-5 hours drive away. While travelling you will get the mesmerizing view of river, mountains, waterfalls and unimagined scenic beauties. The vehicle shall drop you off at Gangtok Hotel. If you happen to arrive early in the day, a stroll along MG Marg or the local market in the evenings is a recommended activity. Note: It can be customized, according to customer’s preference.

After taking rest at night, in this beautiful city, next day guest will be offered early morning breakfast around 4 am. From here full day sightseeing starts. Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir ( New ) which is nearly 40 kilometers is a must thing to visit. This oval shaped lake, which is generally covered in snow for most of the year is also home to the Brahmini ducks & many migratory birds. Along with this, Baba Mandir which is known to be a very holy site for all Nathu La Pass to Republic of China is nearly 20 kilometers. After completing day excursion, guest will be taken back to Gangtok hotel, there they can check in and unwind with dinner. And in evening they can roam around the M G Road (Mall) or local Shopping center. Note: It can be customized, according to customer’s preference.

North Sikkim, nestled in the lap of the Himalayas, is known for its untouched beauty. On third day of trip, after taking breakfast in Gangtok hotel, guests are taken for early morning drive to Gurudongmar Lake which is one of the highest lakes in the world. Its turquoise waters against the snowy backdrop are breathtaking. This holy Lake is one of the most sacred place of worship for the Buddhist and it gets frozen during winter barring a stretch which remains as water even at - 20 C. After returning, have lunch and proceed to Lachung. Enjoy the journey through alpine forests and appealing villages. In the evening, reach to Lachung hotel, check in and chillout with dinner at beautiful hotel in Lachung.

After breakfast at Lachung hotel, guests are accompanied by our officials to start drive towards Yumthang Valley. Being known for stunning views of snow mountains and rivers it is also known as Sikkim Valley of flowers. Located at an altitude of 3500 mts, Yumthang lies in the Singba Rhododendron Sanctuary and is known for its Rhododendron and Primula species. Moving further, now the time to experience real snow and take some freezing experience in this beautiful valley at Zero Point. This is an ultimate destination to experience snow and freezing temperatures. This is the last outpost and the highest part of the tour here. After lunch back to hotel in Lachung and move back to Gangtok hotel by late evening. Enjoy the dinner at hotel and take rest. Note: It can be customized, according to customer’s preference.

After breakfast in Gangtok hotel and relaxation, time for packing and personal activity, then transfer to Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) and proceed journey with sweet memory of North East. Note: It can be customized, according to customer’s preference.

The Sikkim permit requirements

Sikkim is a restricted state, and travelers must obtain a Restricted Area Permit (RAP) and a Protected Area Permit (PAP) before visiting. EastIndiaTrip handles all the required paperwork for a hassle-free journey.

It is a high-rise area in the North of Sikkim. A safe and comfortable trip is impossible without proper preparation.

1# Clothing • Jackets, gloves, thermals, and mufflers made of wool. • A warm cap in case of cold winds.

2# Plastic Ban • Sikkim prohibits the use of single-use plastic bottles. Transport refurbishable bottles to get fined.

3# Oxygen • Travelers going to high-altitude locations like the Gurudongmar Lake should carry around the portable oxygen cans. These cans are available in the local market.

4# Footwear • Traction A heavy-duty footwear or boots are required in snowy or uneven surfaces.

5# Medicines • Carry drugs against altitude sickness, motion sickness and simple first aid.

Cancellation policy

For cancellations request received prior to the 30 days of tour start date, there will be fully refund after GST charges applied.

Cancellations made between 29 days to 15 days of the tour, 25% of the tour cost will be charged as cancellation charges.

Cancellations made between 14 days to 8 days of the tour, 50% of the tour cost will be charged as cancellation charges.

Cancellations made between 7 days to 3 days of the tour, 75% of the tour cost will be charged as cancellation charges.

Cancellations made within 2 days of the tour or No show scenarios, 100% cancellation charges will apply.

For any changes in the route due to various unavoidable circumstances (i.e.; Natural Calamities, Rallies, strike etc.) the supplementary travel cost has to be paid by the customer to the driver directly.
